Marbella has been inhabited since prehistoric; Phoenicians, Romans, Visigoths, Muslims and Catholics established on this territory leaving us with rich cultural remains which are worth the visit.

Plaza de los Naranjos and Old Town

Feel like travelling to the past in this beautiful area of Marbella, you can see the remains of the ancient castle and city walls which surrounded the city in the past. There use to be typical street markets in Plaza de los Naranjoson weekends.

Bonsai Museum

Variety of bonsai specimens reaching up to the century old.

Closed, but you can still visit the "Represa Park".

Ralli Museum

This is one of the 5 Ralli private museums located in the world and the only one in Europe. The museums will show the visitor a colection of southamerican and european art: sculptures from Dalí, paints from Miró and Henry Moore among many other artists.

Entrance is free, the museum close the month of February, Sundays, Mondays and bank holidays.

Roman Village of Rio Verde

Around 5 kilometres from Marbella, this important and well conserved villa from the 1st century show the visitor a mosaic paviment with artistic representations next to the Rio Verde river. The villa was abandoned between the year 350 and 400 after our era.

Roman Baths of Las Bovedas

Next to the Guadalmina river mouth visitor can see the remains of ancient roman baths dated back from the 3rd century before our era.

Encarnacion Church

This church dates back from the year 1505, 20 years after the catholics conquered Marbella. This church was built upon the remains of an ancient mosque

Theme parks and other attractions

Funny Beach

Theme park located next to the beach with karts and other attractions for the whole family.

Prices are expensive and not for all budgets:

- Karting 8 minutes: 20 Euro
- Water Bike: 50€ for 15 minutes.
- Flyboard and hoverboard: 75 Euro for 15 minutes
- Parasailing: 80€ for 15 minutes and two people.
