Benalmadena attractions
In Benalmadena you will find numerous tourist activities, the main attractions for many of the tourists who come during the summer are Puerto Marina and the vibrant nightlife.
Benalmadena is an example of respect between cultures, it is a town where converge many different religions, a Buddhist temple and stupa from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Costa del Sol.
Near the aforementioned Buddhist stupa is the butterfly park, one of the largest in Europe with over 1500 species of butterflies and is both a butterfly park and a botanical garden with different species of tropical plants.

Parque de la Paloma

Colomares Castle
Late twentieth century castle built as a tribute to the discovery of America.
Inside the castle is the smallest church in the world includd in the Guiness Book of the Records.

Stupa Budista
The largest Buddhist stupa in the West is located in Benalmadena and is perfect for meditation. From this Buddhist monument there is a viewpoint with beautiful views of the Costa del Sol.

Bil-Bil Castle
This place was a private construction built in 1927 but it was after acquired by the city of Benalmadena and currently is the place for ceremonies and exhibitions.
Arabian style with gardens and fountains, it is the place in Malaga where the most civil marriages are held.
Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 h. and from 17:00 to 22:00 h.

Next to the 'Paloma Park' you will find this Hindu temple.

Amusement park with many rides; an open air theatre with live music, dance & comedy; Andalusian square with flamenco and other traditional dances; and 'Wild West Town' with shows and entertaining games.

Base price is 8 Euro, you have to pay also tickets for attractions called Tivolinos.
- Supertivolino: 15€ - Unlimited use for all attractions included in the price.
- Combi Ticket: 10€ - Single use on each of the attractions not included in Supertivolino.
- Tivolino: 3€ - Single use for one attraction of the park.
Children smaller than 1 meter don't have to pay base price, attractions is not included in this offer.
There are souvenirs and gifts shops, brewery, restaurants, fast food restaurants...you can pass a good family day here.

Sea Life
With over 30 Marine life displays including sharks, octopi, eels and reef life. Feeding demonstrations, special presentations, café and gift shop. Open all year round from 10 am until 6pm.

Selwo Marina
Marine-life park featuring fantastic dolphin shows and the only display of penguins on ice in Andalucia, as well as exhibits of sea lions, creepy crawlers, and exotic birds.
Open daily between 10:00-21:00 from February through November.
Kids under 3 years old have free entrance.

Mississipi Willow
Authentic New Orleans paddleboat steamer used as discoteque and for New Year's Eve celebrations.
This steamer is sadly abandoned because a forced closure by authorities, which caused a docking debt that could not be paid. Currently it is sinking slowly.
