Fuengirola tourist attractions
Founded by the Phoenicians and inhabited by the Romans who left some archaeological remains such the roman baths, the Villa del Secretario, the salting fish factories or a statue of the Goddess Venus. From Suel by the Romans to Sohail after the Arabian conquest who built the Sohail Castle as defense against the Visigoths pirates.

Sohail Castle
Arabian fortress built over an ancient roman fortress in the year 956 where actually they organize markets and events during the summer.

Finca del Secretario
Roman archaeological place built between the first and fifth centuries with two differentiated areas, the salting factory and the thermal bath.
Torreblanca Thermal Baths
Roman Thermal Baths found by the end of the 20th century, probably they were part of a villa lost in time. It was also used as salting fish factory and production of purple colour.

Bioparc Fuengirola
It was known as Fuengirola Zoo until 2010 when it changed its name to Bioparc focused on tropical species specially from Asia, Africa and Indo-Pacific islands.
The park is divided into themed areas from the different areas of the world and is open every day of the year.
