Tourism office
Place where gathering information and take maps and restaurants cards, they talk english. Easy to reach by car if you park at the Plaza de España (Spain square), it is located next to the city court and at the ground floor of the Town Hall.
Open:
Monday to Saturday: 10am to 2pm and 3pm to 7pm.
Sunday: 10am to 2pm.

Cave of Nerja
Cave of Nerja is open daily except 1st of January and 15th in May, those days it is closed.
Next to the Cave there is a place where parking with space for 300 vehicles and another places of touristic interest.
Times: 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to18:30

Nerja museum
Located in Nerja old town and next to Balcon de Europa viewpoint. It brings to the visitor a good part of the history of the municipality.
This museum shows in different themed areas the origins of the settlement, information about the location of the city and resources available along the history, a very complete history for the visitor to know deeply this city.
Price
Ticket price is 4 Euro, children between 6 to 12 years old have a 50% discount.
Time
10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 18:30
July and August: 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00
Closed 1st of January and day 15th of May..

Balcon de Europa
This place was a fortress by the beginning of the 19th century and the independence war. Balcon de Europa is a viewpoint from where you can sight most of the Nerja coast.

Maro Factory
This was the first sugar factory built in Nerja during the year 1585, it was used until the middle of the 19th century.

Macaca watchtower
Built in 1497 to defend the coast of pirate attacks this watchtower can be seen from the road which connects Malaga with Almeria, next to the Punta Lara cove.

Verano Azul Park
Famous park where you can visit the boat used for the popular tv serie 'Verano Azul' filmed in Nerja.
