At the time of the pick up - after confirmation or modification of the details of the customer's booking - Europcar estimates the amount required for authorization and requests an electronic authorization of the bank issuing the customers card (the "Deposit").
Deposit Europcar
The amount of the deposit typically covers:
- the period of the lease;
- the rental rate per day including taxes;
- possible charges for mileage
- Extra equipment(s) and services selected by the customer.
- The amount of deposit will be maintained throughout the period of the lease contract. For a lease more than thirty (30) days, will be requested a new authorization of the estimate for each period at the bank of the cardholder.
Europcar fuel policy
The fuel consumed by the vehicle during the rental period is at the expense of the lessee.
The lessee will return the vehicle with full fuel tank. Otherwise you will be billed the missing amount plus the charge for refueling service established in the General Price List.
Europcar includes in price
The rental period will be agreed in the contract and billed based on twenty four hour periods, reckoned from the time it is formalized. There is a grace period of 30 minutes, above which will be billed an extra day of rent at the price applicable in the General Price List.
The lessee agrees to return the vehicle to the lessor on the estimated date and time and the place agreed in the lease. The return of the vehicle in a different place from the initially agreed may involve additional charges.
